The best local breakfast and lunch place around. The food is down-home. The service is great. Love looking at the water. I go there often.

Traveling through Jersey, looking for a place for lunch. Found Uncle Buck's. The nice Young lady says find a seat. Comes over takes our drink order, the first thing you notice this is filled with local regulars. You step back in time. It's such a wonderful atmosphere, having people talking and asking how the family, as first timers you get the friendly look from all the regulars and everyone goes back to business. Ordered a turkey bacon club and a roast beef club. You again travel back, a fully packed sandwich of roast beef, bacon (perfectly cooked) lettuce and mayonnaise on toasted white bread. The turkey club was just as packed full. Something you don't get in some of the bigger places. Top everything off with a root beer soda and they give you a small bag of chips. Prices were on point. Nothing fancy and to wait for service is not a problem, because I would also spent time with my locals that frequent this place for a good number of years. You can sit and listen to the local people and their stories. Great diner, great food and great people. I can't wait to go for breakfast. Give them a try...

My family and I came here and everything was very delicious . You can definitely tell that everything was homemade and very tasty. We waited until there was a booth since there were a lot of us. I decided to get the grilled chicken gyro and the Greek salad it was very delicious. I pretty much ate everything. I didn't have any leftovers. I also got the cup of chicken noodles, and that was really good . My husband got the cup of chili and the cheese burger. My husband said a cup of chili was okay, but the cheeseburger was very delicious. Other than that, I would highly suggest going here and checking them out.

This place is a local mainstay. No frills no fuss just straight delicious breakfast food at an affordable price. Friendly staff. You'll probably run into some friends and have a chat while you're there. Classic small town local diner

I absolutely love this diner. Food is great, friendly atmosphere, typical small-town, all-American eatery. A genuinely happy place for either breakfast or lunch. Nothing pretentious about it. I am hooked!

Absolutely love Uncle Buck's diner. The food is terrific and the servers are so friendly and helpful. We love trying different diners and Uncle Buck's is top notch to us!

The perfect combo of great food, low price, and large portions. Did I mention low price? Seriously, it's so cheap that it's almost criminal (there's a court house, and a jail two miles down the road, so I give extra big tips just in case).

Classic Small town Main street diner. Nothing fancy. Tasty food, good portions. Menu said home fries inside omelet and they were not. Efficient, pleasant staff

A small town establishment with really great food. Never had a bad experience here and the food has always been great! They have a great breakfast menu with Omlettes, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, just to name a few. I always enjoy the Omlettes where my kids stick to the pancakes. Staff is always friendly and service is excellent. Portions are decent and price is right. My coffee cup was filled when empty. What more can you ask for. Not in the mood for breakfast, theynl have tasty lunch menus as well. If you lucky, you can grab a window seat. Pretty sure the river is the Peaquest, There is a small waterfall where the ducks often congregate. Definitely a great place to visit as you are passing through parts of rural New Jersey and almost makes you feel as though you are back in time.. A must stop whenever we are in the area.
